Sesam is a proven solution for deepwater floating systems, mooring and SURF analysis (subsea, umbilical, riser, flowline). The time domain coupled analysis in Sesam provides a comprehensive and accurate analysis for mooring systems. With abundant components, different types of mooring systems, such as spread mooring, single point turret mooring, and Soft Yoke system (which is quite widely used in some shallow water areas) can be properly simulated in an efficient way. With a deeper knowledge of the solvers, thrusters and dynamic positioning (DP) systems can also be simulated and analysed simultaneously with other slender structures.

Offshore wind turbine foundations

Sesam software for offshore wind turbine foundation design and analysis is based on decades of experience in engineering of offshore structures. It provides a tailor-made solution for structural strength analysis of fixed and floating offshore wind support structures, such as wind turbine jackets, floating platforms, and substations. It can be used for conceptual and detailed design of the primary structure, as well as for the design of secondary steel such as boat landings and J-tubes. Besides this, Sesam can perform other lifecycle analyses such as transportation, lifting, and corrosion protection.

Efficient strength and fatigue analysis of subsea pipelines

Sesam for pipeline contains a collection of six software modules to support offshore pipeline engineers in efficiently performing analysis calculations for offshore pipeline design. All modules follow DNV's Offshore Standards (OS) or Recommended Practices (RP) and its unparallel acuracy is proven by clients around the world for subsesa pipeline design.

Pipeline Engineering Tool

The Pipeline Engineering Tool is a software calculation tool for early phase offshore pipeline assessment covering different aspects of pipeline design. The tool is a VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) based on program with a user-friendly interface.

Offshore structural engineering

Sesam is a world renowned offshore structural engineering software tool for design and analysis of fixed structures. It gives you the optimal basis for critical engineering decisions during the entire lifecycle of your asset, be it a topside, jacket, jack-up, or offshore wind turbine support structure.
